We are seeking a Supply Chain Solutions Project Leader for our Atlanta, GA location:
SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS PROJECT LEADERProject leader will be responsible for new business development implementations, assist with go-to-market strategy and work with cross functional group on continuous improvement projects. Will be expected to pitch service capabilities with sales team and develop best in class VMI service model, utilizing latest technology Responsibilities
High-level Project Management of all aspects of New Program Implementations across all of the functions in the business
Managing the implementation of ILM (Inventory Logistics Management) programs for multi-site national/global accounts
Defining, proposing, and implementing processes to service customer programs
Analyzing usage requirements to determine inventory levels to support external customers
Setting up bin systems and barcode technology on site at the customer facility using advanced Inventory Management Technology
Training internal and external customers on operational and technology aspects of the fulfillment process
Analyzing and implementing solutions to improve existing program service levels by working with the branch and external customer
Implementing 5S initiatives internal to Gexpro and customer site
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 3 years experience in Supply Chain or Inventory Management
Proven project management skills Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
The ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
Able to lift over 40 lbs
Willing to travel (60%)
Cross-functional experience
Strong Excel Skills
