Network Administrator

Reporting to the IT Manager, the Network Administrator is responsible for building servers and installing H/W and S/W for gaming environments and server administration. The Network Administrator should also have a solid understanding of hardware, software, network configuration and experience interacting with people at a variety of levels.
PRIMARY OBJECTIVES
The duties of this role include but are not limited to the following:
Install and administer Windows 2003/2008 servers.
Perform some MS SQL administration tasks and scripting.
Perform data/DB backups and recoveries.
Install network and server equipment in equipment racks for deployment.
Review scheduled tasks and turn around dates.
Install and upgrade CJ and other software.
Manager user accounts in Active Directory.
Performs detailed analysis of system requirements to determine needs.
Available nights and weekends as needed for on call shifts/upgrades/implementations/new deployments
Capable of Sharing Knowledge with staff and customers
Skills / Requirements:
B.S degree in Computer/equivalent is required
Windows 2003/2008 Server.
Some MS SQL / DB Experience.
Experience with Active Directory, user management, and GPOs.
MCP certification.
Customer support experience.
Willing to learn.
Gaming License Eligibility. You must be able to pass a background check up to the past 20 years for arrest, conviction, sealed or expunged records.
Pluses:
Batch Scripting knowledge with DOS, Python, or Perl.
Cisco Router Experience.
Linux experience.
Experience with Networking.
Other pertinent certifications.
