HR Generalist/Technical Recruiter

Reports to the SR. HR Manager, the HR Generalist/Technical Recruiter is responsible for 3 critical areas: Technical Recruiting, Payroll, & Benefits.
Local Candidate Only/Bi-lingual Eng/Sp a plus.
Recruiting: Duties include but are not limited to the following three phase process:
Meet with managers for a clear understanding of position duties and skills and experience required for each position
Build a pipeline of applicants through networking, online resources and job boards
Conduct phone screens with potential candidates
Review all qualified candidates with hiring managers
Schedule & coordinate interview times with hiring managers
Make employment offers and complete onboarding including but not limited to: collection of all required paperwork, background screenings, vendor enrollments, internal notifications, entries into internal & external systems, and coordination of day-one orientation and ongoing onboarding activities.
Payroll Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Process payroll using Paycom
Follow up in a professional manner with managers to ensure timely approval of PTO requests and bi-weekly timesheets
Process and record all approved payroll changes and adjustments
Verify payroll and submit to Paycom per established process
Benefits Administration Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Enrollment of new employees and process current employee changes
Communicate changes and adjustment with third party vendors
Make entries into payroll system in order to reflect benefit choices
Manual reconciliation of monthly benefit billing
Prepare payroll reports for the Accounting department
Assist employees with vendor relations and claims processing
Other duties include but are not limited to the following:
Schedule meetings and training sessions
Special projects as needed
Organize workers comp, 401(k) and payroll audits
Skills / Requirements :
5 - 7 years experience as HR Generalist with proven track record of technical recruiting
Recruiting, payroll, and benfits experience required
Exceptionally strong computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Visio, Publisher, & Sharepoint experience a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines while multi-tasking in a fast-paced customer service driven environment
Must have a can-do attitude with friendly, outgoing customer service skills, sound judgement, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
