PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Compensation Manager for our client in Duluth, GA.
Our client is implementing a new incentive compensation system. The current manager of the compensation administration function will spend 60% - 70% of their time on the implementation project. This position is a temporary role created to provide backfill support to the manager. The Senior Sales Compensation Administrator will assist the manager of this department in forecasting, auditing and calculating global Sales Compensation Program (SCP) incentives while enhancing Sales Compensation participant and manager understanding of the incentive plans. On-time, accurate payments with reporting sales employees that can easily understand and audit are the ultimate measures of success in this position.
Job
Responsibilities:
Perform as a backup to the manager of the SCP Administration function.
Assist the manager in providing leadership to a team of four Associates.
Indirectly manage the (outsourced) transaction processing team.
Field and solve issues related to Sales Compensation Statements, Earnings, and transaction processing.
Calculate monthly SCP accrual and send to Finance for booking.
Audit sales compensation calculations to ensure they fall within a reasonable range.
Prepare monthly SCP scorecard.
Work with business partners (Finance, Operations) to validate results outside normal ranges.
Manage expectations of the workforce through proactive communications.
Liaison with IT to develop solutions to existing SCP system issues and Request for Changes (RFCs).
Execute end of year processes in order to close out the year with minimal adjustments after final payments.
Work with global payroll contacts to correct Compensation processing errors and get employees paid in a timely manner.
Reports to Global Compensation Administration Manager.
Qualifications:
Requires five years professional experience in the sales compensation administration field.
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred
Customer service oriented
Must be empathetic to employee needs, detail oriented, cautious, conservative in decision making and highly analytical.
