# Job Description
Leads the Dailies Production Cartoning operation which operates 24hrs a day, seven days a week. Provides leadership, guidance and direction to the assigned Production Team Leaders to accomplish assigned objectives/targets. Responsible for the achievement of daily assigned production targets/goals including: (1) Output, (2) OEE, (3) quality standards, (4) safety, (5) compliance with regulatory standards (ISO and GMP)/ SOPs and (6) budget. Provides guidance and direction on operational issues to assigned teams and coordination of support from the various support sections. Ensures all personnel assigned to the Production Teams staff are current in training and certification requirements. Responsible for performance counseling, talent management and disciplinary action of all direct reports and reviewer input of key personnel within the Production Teams. Makes recommendations to the Head of Dailies Manufacturing on matters affecting the Production Teams and /or product quality. May include future management of Secondary Packaging area for LS3. Achieve Shift's assigned production targets/goals. 1. Output, 2. OEE, 3. Quality, 4. Safety, 5. Compliance with standards, 6. Training/certification of personnel, 7. Budget-Reviews including approvals of expenses within US4365 (raw materials, parts and other misc expenses), 8. Ensures employee work rules and policies are followed throughout Secondary Packaging area. Maintain production areas in state of readiness at all times and optimize operational performance. Manage and Drive the Continuous Improvement programs and product WIP to ensure workflow is uninterrupted and production goals achieved. Coach, teach and mentor assigned personnel and foster professionalism and team work within Shifts. Develop succession plan. Communicate effectively with Production Team Leaders as well as external support groups to attain objectives and accomplish assigned targets/goals. Verify JCM Team Leaders communicate site issues and coverage needs. Instill and maintain a Safety First work environment and support the sites safety programs. Perform security and safety walkthroughs and audits.

# Minimum requirements
Minimum Required: 4 yr Bachelor degree and/or MBA. Potential to move to more senior positions. Preferred Level: Technical field. English. Experience Yrs and type of
Experience: Minimum Required: 7-10 years as manufacturing leader with 4 years as manager/supervisor of large organization (over 75 persons) Preferred Level: 2 years of production experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Skills Type and Proficiency: Minimum Required: Proficiency in either DSM or Dailies manufacturing operations. Preferred Level: Knowledge of both DSM and Dailies operations.
