What you need for this
position
:
- Advanced knowledge in Ruby on Rails (Minimum 2 years)
- Experience with NoSQL and Ruby on Rails (MongoDB and Mongoid preferred)
- Experience with git and github (branching, tagging, merges, etc)
- Experience with deployment stack (nginx, Unicorn, Linux, etc)
- Experience with end to end debugging and performance (ruby debugger, newrelic, etc)
- Front End development in HAML, HTML and JavaScript a huge plus
- RSpec and Cucumber are pluses
- College degree in related field (Master's preferred)
- Good communication skills
What they will be doing:
- Participate in all phases of the software development cycle: from product definition and design through implementation, debugging, and testing.
- Work collaboratively with other engineers
- Work closely with the Product and Design teams as part of an Agile Development process.
- Analyze and study complex system requirements
- Translate design specs into clean, concise, maintainable software
- Test, debug and refine software to produce the required product
- Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency
