Duluth, GA Duluth, GA Full-time Full-time $18 - $24 an hour $18 - $24 an hour 14 days ago 14 days ago 14 days ago Summary Responsible for assisting with procurement of all fire sprinkler materials that are purchased for stock and job-related projects, tracking raw materials, including pipe, fittings, sprinkler heads, couplings and other materials; enter Field Orders, Work Orders, and Material Credit Sheets for all fire sprinkler projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Purchase materials for jobs.
Obtain vendor information regarding pricing, discounts, payment terms, product quality, and serviceability.
Assist in transfer of material charges to job cost system.
Maintain SDS sheets on all products and Hazcom Program.
Maintain a price book on inventory items.
Assemble material submittal sheets.
Prepare purchase orders, review requisitions, supply requests and purchase reports and cross reference invoices and POs to verify correct pricing.
Assist with creating part numbers and monitoring material charge out pricing.
Education and/or Experience High School Diploma and 1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in construction or similar industry.
