We are currently seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our team on a remote basis.
As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our organization.
This position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work effectively in a remote setting.
Must have a strong ability to multitask and support a dynamic team of payroll associates and specialists
Responsibilities:
Assist in processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures Track and update employee information, such as tax withholdings, deductions, and direct deposit information Assist in preparing and distributing payroll reports to management Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing timely and accurate information Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies or issues in a proactive and timely manner Maintain accurate payroll records and files Stay up to date on payroll regulations and changes to ensure compliance Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation and filing Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Assistant or in a similar role Knowledge of payroll software and systems High School Diploma or equivalent High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Desire to learn and grow in a fast moving environment This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.
