The accounts payable (AP) department keeps that system running smoothly by managing cash flow and paying vendors and suppliers.
We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments accurately, efficiently, and timely.
The AP specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on reasonable terms with our valued partners.
Objectives of this role Review all invoices for accuracy and match them to supporting documentation.
Process invoices for payment in the ERP system.
Partner with purchasing and receiving teams to resolve invoice and purchase order discrepancies.
Provide payment data to vendors/suppliers.
Initiate and review reports for check /ACH/Wire processing.
Strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments Assist in period-end closing processes and reporting.
Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting Comply with national and local financial regulations.
Execute credit card and vendor statement reconciliation Support ad hoc reports and information requests.
Required skills and qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping Superb time management skills and detail orientation Ability to maintain the confidentiality of company and partner information Preferred skills and qualifications Associate degree or equivalent Strong mathematical skills Experience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable) Experience with accounting software and online platforms Job Type:
