Assistant Inventory Technician (Temporary, Full-Time)

POSITION SUMMARYThe Assistant Inventory Technician will help track inventory received and distributed within the company.
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory data by verifying all inbound and outbound orders.
Ensure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the data management system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Receipt and inspection of received shipments, including cost verification through data entry for inventory and non-inventory shipments Package, ship, and track all inventory and non-inventory shipments Accurately and consistently maintain the inventory database Complete accurate and consistent daily/weekly/monthly cycle counts for selected inventory Report low stock to appropriate to inventory manager for re-order Pulling and providing correct inventory to staff; maintaining flexibility in fulfillment of part requests Properly identify inventory before shelving or distribution Maintain all relevant documentation as required for this position Daily housekeeping for inventory areas and ensuring compliance with storage and safety Assist staff with office tasks for items that may need storage or movement Perform other related assignments and duties as required and assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent < 1 year of experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
) Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail Willing work in warehouse environment PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the day Must be able to climb stairs, ramps, and ladders, to crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach above/below shoulders Must be able to frequently lift up to 75 pounds and move up to 250 pounds Position will be considered for conversion to regular full-time with benefits after 6 months Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Data Entry Databases Housekeeping Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
