Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography.
Additionally this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms.
The Mammo Tech II will work in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
This position will include Screenings, Diganostic, Procedures and Bone DensityREQUIRED Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist with certification in Radiography and Mammography R.
T.
(R)(M)(ARRT).
Qualified to perform stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
Certified in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (CPR and AED) Program PREFERRED 1 - 3 years' experience in mammography.
1 year experience in stereotactic procedures and/or quality control (QC) specific to mammography.
Experience in Clinical Research setting.
Recommended Skills Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Basic Life Support Bone Densities Cpr Clinical Research Mammography Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
