Summary:
As a Dispatcher you will efficiently, accurately, and timely dispatch our drivers to various locations for prompt pick up or drop-off to our customers.
Other duties include forecasting and general clerical duties.
Responsibilities and
Essential Functions:
Efficient, accurate and timely dispatching of our drivers to various locations for prompt pick up and/or drop-off of our customers Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products, minimum of 50 lbs.
Maintains route documentation and records (relevant contract requirements, route changes, relevant maps, vehicle details, driver details) for the purpose of providing accurate and reliable information to customers and complies with U.

LUMBER requirements.
Identify and read tickets, SKU's, UPC labels and reports.
Gripping used to operate machinery or hand tools.
Good understanding of DOT compliance regulations Exposure to varying types of climates.
Be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
Other general clerical duties, as assigned and requested by supervisor.
Required Credentials:
High School diploma or equivalent Two (2) years experience in loading, routing, dispatching is a plus Prior experience in a wholesale distribution environment preferred Able and willing to work overtime Ability to learn skills quickly with a mature and customer service-oriented attitude.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
Basic math and analytic skills Efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Routing software knowledge Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
