Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
By consulting with managers and employees on performance and Learning related issues in support of our Channel partners and Hospitality/Travel Lines of Businesses, the Learning Business Partner has a direct influence on helping to achieve NCR's business goals. Combining relationship building skills, business acumen and an analytical approach, this role is an exciting position for an experienced learning professional to develop their career in translating business requirements into results. By working closely with HR Business Partners, Line managers and other internal resources, the Learning Business Partner is responsible for the execution of learning within the Channel and LOBs. This role requires a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and a strong focus on meeting the needs of the customer by taking a proactive, consultative and innovation-driven approach to the performance and development needs of NCR's greatest asset - its people.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
o Be a strategic learning partner to our Channel and Hospitality/Travel LoBs
o Create targeted learning plans for our employees in Hospitality/Travel with a specific need and focus on sales skills development and product knowledge.
o Support the development needs of our Channel Partners by working with the NCR Channel Partner team to build a learning strategy and develop learning that will improve the ability of the Channel to sell and support NCR solutions Skills and Competencies to be successful in this role.
o Experienced in performance consulting and building recommendations
o Experienced at building and executing learning
o Familiarity with contemporary and innovative practices in learning design, development and delivery in a multigenerational and global workforce.
o Knowledgeable in the application of a wide range of current and emerging learning delivery methods.
o Experienced in measuring the effectiveness of learning programs and transfer of training to the job o Good listening, rapport building, negotiating, collaboration & conflict resolution skills.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Able to deliver results with minimal supervision
o Comfortable operating as part of a virtual team
o Strong team player with a collaborative, practical 'can-do' approach
o Able to work and deliver in business-focused environment
o Successfully handle multiple projects and meet competing deadlines
o Strong bias to driving continuous improvement Additionally, the Learning Business Partner is expected to.
o Develop their professional skills and knowledge in-line with contemporary learning consulting best practices.
o Effectively network and collaborate with others to fully leverage resources across the Human Resources team and the wider learning community and subject matter expertise within the company. o Minimum of five years of experience in a Learning Consultant role - preferably supporting a Channel Partner Network.
o Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
o Demonstrated experience in performing training needs analysis
o Demonstrated experience in developing and leading organization development interventions.
o Experienced in deploying and evaluating training programs using a variety of different delivery media.
o Experienced in training delivery and in the facilitation of live and virtual training events.
o Member of a relevant professional body (e.g. ASTD or similar)
o Demonstrated ability to leverage learning and development to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
